Today I've got something a bit different, my mum's nail of the day! I thought this would be a fun idea to do as it's always nice to see how different colour nail polishes look on different types of skin. We were also lucky enough to be able to take some of these pictures outside in the sunshine, bonus!
My Mum has one layer of Barry M Nail Paint in Cobalt Blue and then one layer of Max Factor Nail Effects in Fantasy Fire. We absolutely love this combination, especially when the light catches it and it sparkles in every colour you could imagine! The brushes aren't show stopping, particularly the Barry M brush, which I explained further in my review of the Gelly Nail Paint in Blueberry. As far as consistency goes I don't really have any complaints about either of these polishes. Now for the pretty nail pictures!
Needless to say my Mums nails looked gorgeous in the bright sunshine and it really did show off the Max Factor polish to the best of it's ability. It wears for around 2-4 days with no chipping (most likely 2 days if you are always busy like my Mum)! They both paint on very smoothly with no major issues. We both would definitely recommend this brilliant combination for a no fuss, fantastic nail look! The Barry M polish is £2.99 and the Max Factor polish is £3.99.
